We have a unique and purposeful strategy for Sunday evenings at our church. Our goal is not only greater participation, but also and more importantly, greater impact. We have identified 26 calendar dates this year that we will utilize in an attempt to accomplish what the Lord has called us to as a church.
These Sundays will include 6 communion services, 2 home-fellowship nights, 12 church-wide celebration luncheons, and 6 unique community outreach projects that we call "Love Works" projects. We will also conduct various group activities designed for Spiritual growth.
On the remaining Sundays, we will not be conducting an evening service.
Join together in fellowship with other believers as we observe the Lord's Table, remembering Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. After a heart-warming song service and Bible message on the topic of communion, we will partake in the bread and cup, symbolizing the broken body and the shed blood of our Lord.
Love Works Outreach Projects
On the Sundays, we will mobilize as a group in the afternoon and enter our community for a specific project designed to positively impact our neighbors. We will express God's love through acts of kindness, compassion and servanthood, sharing the gospel with those we encounter.
After the 11:00am Worship service, we will gather for a pot-luck luncheon, intended to celebrate God's goodness during the month and encourage new attenders and members at BBC.
Home Fellowship Nights
Instead of gathering in one building for fellowship and worship, we will gather separately in four member's homes, in the spirit of the early church. We will share a meal together, participate in a devotional time, experience some fun activities, and enjoy a season of corporate prayer.
